Our Story
I've always been drawn to natural stones—their subtle variations in color and texture, and the character each one carries. I started LUNARAE to share jewelry that feels quietly distinctive and easy to wear, even on the most ordinary days.
What we look for
When I choose pieces for LUNARAE, I look for a shape that feels distinctive without being difficult to wear, materials that feel good in the hand, and details worth noticing up close.
I think about how a piece will sit with everyday clothes, how often someone might choose to wear it, and whether the materials, experience, and price feel thoughtfully balanced. I hope each piece becomes something you enjoy returning to, not something you save only for an occasion.
The details that stay with you
One of the details I spent the most time considering was our envelope-style jewelry pouch. We first considered velvet, but I kept coming back to the cleaner, flatter shape of an envelope.
We compared fabrics carefully. Too thick, and the folds felt bulky; too thin, and the pouch lost the softness and substance we wanted. The final choice folds neatly and feels gentle to the touch.
I wanted it to be useful long after the first unboxing—a small place to keep your LUNARAE jewelry or other pieces you love. That same attention went into our boxes, printing, and the details of how each order arrives.
